Professor Behzad Moshiri

Chief Reviewer of NYILAI publications & Member of NYILAI’s Advisory Board

Professor Behzad Moshiri is the Chief Reviewer of NYILAI publications. NYILAI will conduct webinars and accept papers in Applied Artificial Intelligence in Medicine through a peer-review process and publish them annually. With the assistance of other academics, Professor Behzad Moshiri will conduct the peer-review process of all the submitted articles to ensure that papers provide new methods and techniques in Artificial Intelligence and solve real medical engineering problems. Professor Behzad Moshiri has received his B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 1984 and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in control systems engineering from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), United Kingdom, in 1987 and 1991, respectively. Professor Moshiri is an adjunct professor of the ECE department at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He is currently full professor of Control Systems Engineering at the School of ECE, University of Tehran. He was also visiting professor at the universities of Toronto, Waterloo, and Ryerson in 2009-2011.
