Professor Yanqing Zhang is a full Professor in the Computer Science Department at Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of South Florida in 1997. His research interests include hybrid intelligent systems, computational intelligence, machine learning, data mining, deep learning, fuzzy logic, granular neural networks, evolutionary computation, bioinformatics, brain informatics, health informatics, web intelligence, granular computing, parallel computing, green computing, Yin-Yang computation, optimization, security, and game theory. He received Outstanding Leadership Award at the 12th International Conference on Security, Privacy and Anonymity in Computation, Communication and Storage in 2019, Outstanding Academic Service Award at the 7th IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics & Bioengineering in 2007, Achievement Award of the 2007 World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Applied Computing, and Outstanding Service Award at 2005 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing.
